This this website acts as a ‘network’ and not is a business in itself. Each tutor carries his/her own ABN and holds relevant documentation which allows him/her to work and interact with children legally in his/her own state. Any tutor breaching this policy shall be removed from the network. If you, a user or customer, notice that any of our tutors are breaching our policy, the law or your privacy, do not hesitate to contact us through the general enquiry page on this website.
Unless otherwise agreed upon, the tutoring session will run for the pre-booked time. You may not pull out of a tutoring session mid-way through a session without payment for the entire pre-booked session, without prior notice to the tutor. Due to the nature of our payment methods (see below), penaltys do not apply for cancelling a lesson at short notice. However, if no notice is given (to the tutor directly up to 20 minutes before hand, or to the website 2 hours before hand), it may be the case that the tutor is unaware of your intention to cancel the tutoring session, and hence may turn up expecting to render their services. Should this be the case, a cancellation fee of $5 for customers in a green zone area, $10 for customers in a blue zone area and $15 for customers in a red zone area shall apply. If the tutor is unable to attend a tutoring session, no fee shall apply and a make up session will be made at short notice if you require. As part of our policy, our tutors are required to contact you by email at least 24 hours prior to the commencement in addition to a phone call at least 2 hours before the commencement of the lesson to confirm cancellation.
Pricing & Payment
Cost details will be provided and agreed upon prior to the first tutoring session. Upon commencement of a tutoring session, the tutor may require you sign a document agreeing on a cost before the lesson starts. The cost of the tutoring session is to be paid upfront by either cash or cheque. Our tutors do not routinely carry change and as such it is your responsibility to provide the exact amount or make prior arrangements with them. No other forms of payment will be accepted.
Complaints and Queries
In the unlikely scenario where you have a complaint to make, please use our website customer contact form to do so. Your complaint will then be redirected to your relevant tutor who is required, by our policy, to take your complaint seriously and take any reasonable action that may be required.
